Pre-4th of July Festivities

Battle Creek has an airshow and hot air balloon festival every year. This year it was Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. We did not attend this year and all day on Monday the kids and I could hear the airplanes but not see them. The USAF Thunderbirds practiced in the evening right around supper time. We finally saw some action so Lexi wanted a picture of the airplanes!

The fireworks with the airshow were on Monday night also. We had the kiddos all excited about seeing the fireworks, this is when we first were at the field waiting..... We waited for about 2 hours and then at 11:20pm they decided to reschedule them for the following evening.
