We have been to the zoo a number of times this year already but this past Friday, the new carousel opened. On Friday, the carousel was open for members only. The sweet part of the deal was that members were allowed to ride free!! We took the opportunity to ride it twice with this excellent deal! :-)

The really neat part of the carousel is that all of the animals have been hand carved out of wood. The detail is amazing and all the animals are just gorgeous to look at.
