We have a catalpa tree that everyone thinks is neat. It has these huge leaves and they are a lighter green than a regular tree. The only problem with this tree is the fact that it is the last tree to drop its leaves and it does it all in a day. To prove my point this picture was taken about 9:00 this morning. I am trying to let you see how many leaves are falling but that is impossible!! You can see many leaves on the tree though and a few on Jason's truck....
Again, lots of leaves still on the tree behind the truck but enough on his truck.
I took these pictures at noon when the kids and I came home from the grocery store. Just a few leaves left on the tree....rest of them on the ground. The kids think this is fun!! I guess we will be cleaning them up tomorrow. The other problem with these trees is after a couple of days on the ground the leaves are black and brittle and track everywhere!
