The Funny Story!

For all who haven't heard about Dani and I's "funny" story. Let me begin with the fact that Dani potty trained last January and has done extremely well since probably day 5. She has occasionally had an accident here and there but not to often. Lately she has been having a few more accidents. Last Sunday Jason and I had a discussion about how we should be handling these accidents because they seem to be more frequent lately. The problem being she is always in the bathroom trying to get onto the toilet when they happen.

Let me also explain that we have a box in our house, from Build a Bear Workshop, that she loves to fill up with items, throw a blanket over and push around the house, so she can give me a present. I receive a ton of presents every day, I am loved!!

Brevon, on the Monday after the Sunday discussion between Jason and I, is trying to tell me something in the kitchen. Dani rounds the corner pushing her box and for once waits for Brevon and I to finish our discussion. She then asks me to look at her. I thinking she brought me a present, tell her how excited I am for yet another present. She says to me, "No Mommy," and then giggling, "look at my pants, I have wets going down them." I go onto say, "Oh Dani, that is not good, we need to be in the bathroom. This is not funny!" She then proceeds to tell me while giggling again, " Well it is funny to me!" I honestly am seeing red and ask her go into the bathroom and finishing going on the big girl potty... Brevon follows her into the bathroom. Dani is sitting there saying to Brevon over and over, "Brevon didn't you think that was funny, I really thought it was funny..."

Mommy was none to happy, Dani very quickly figured that out and on the positive side hasn't had a repeat performance since!
