Dani really enjoyed swinging on the swingset!
Lexi by her vegetable garden. She wonders if she can start planting yet? :-)
Well here is the story.... The past two years we have had a gorgeous, wonderful garden until mid July/ August. Then the deer find our gorgeous, wonderful garden and think the bounty is for them. Lexi is very upset about the deer and her vegetable garden. Last fall the kids asked us if we would make a sign for the garden so the deer know to stay out. We have been dragging our feet on how to make this sign.
The kids after school told me Lexi was going to rake the garden, Dani was going to dig a hole, and Brevon was making a sign. Dani then informs they are tired of the deer and "you and Daddy aren't doing anything about it. So we are just going to do it ourselves." Well they worked for about a half an hour, used a crayon but couldn't decide how to get the sign to stay up and the hammer wasn't working with the screws they brought out!! :-) So now they are waiting for Daddy to help them!! Aren't they cute....

LOVE Brevon's outfit! The sign idea is wonderful - now they will just need to teach the deer how to read! :)
