Last night as I waited for Lexi to eat her apples before going to bed, I read some passages out of my Bible. Lexi wanted to see what I was reading so we read together. We started out in Psalms then went to Philippians. I am casually reading when I find an appropriate passage for Lexi: 'Do everything without complaining or arguing.' (Philippians 2: 14) We continued to read on "so you may shine like stars in the universe"
Dani and Brevon wanted to read with me this morning, so we reviewed this scripture and discussed it.
Tonight at the dinner table Brevon and Lexi start bickering..... Brevon brings up the passage, "Lexi shouldn't argue." Dani agrees, " Yeah, she needs to shine like a rock star."
Well at least they are trying to apply it! :-)
