Jason and I had the opportunity to go to Las Vegas, NV for a quick wedding trip. Jason's roomate from college, Andy, was married out there to a very nice lady, Christina. They only invited their close family and friends and we were two of the select few. We didn't have a chance to take in a show and I actually forgot my camera for the wedding so I really only have a few snap shots from our trip, but I did take these pictures up in the air on our trip home. The mountain tops are just poking through and there are just a few of those puffy clouds. The pictures were mostly for Lexi, I thought she would enjoy seeing the clouds "close up" .

Our trip out was uneventful, our trip home was LONG. Our plane ride was suppose to be 3 1/2 hrs, when we arrived at the airport and was done with security we found out we were on a 2 hr delay due to misting in Chicago. They had us board the airplane 40 minutes early and then delayed us another hour. Once up in the air they put us in a holding pattern for half an hour and we were just about to land in Chicago and they placed us in another holding pattern but the pilot said we didn't have enough fuel so we went on to Indianapolis. Refueled (that took an hour) we were ready to leave and we stopped on the taxi way because Chicago had placed us on hold again. Finally after we had been there for an hour and a half they allowed us to go back up in the air and we landed in Chicago about 45-50 minutes later. We sat on the plane for a total of 8 hours, that isn't counting the 3 1/2 hours we sat and waited in the airport. Then we drove the 3 hours home. My bottom was tired of sitting. :-)
