NICU reunion

Today there was a reunion at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI for all of the past NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) babies. I decided to take the kids so that Dani could maybe meet some of the doctors and nurses that worked on her as a preemie!! They did a whole circus theme with the reunion and of course Mommies were way more into the reunion part and all of the "babies" were way more into the activities. They had cookie decorating, OT practice, music therapy, hat making, fishing, face painting, animal balloons, story time, and you could tour the new NICU facility. WOW!!

The kids had a blast, Mommy cried, I got to see my favorite nurse from the NICU and all of these tears came falling. I had two nurses remember me and Dani. We also were able to finally meet Dani's head doctor while being there. He was incredible and claims he remembers her and us! The kids just had a blast!!

I was going to take so many pictures, the kids received so much "fun stuff" I couldn't even get to my cell phone when it rang!! I also couldn't get Dani to stand by any of her drs or nurses for a photo op!! Oh well we have a lot of fun memories!
