Well are plan had never been to have the kids super "geeked" about Santa, but some things cannot be helped. I had a fairly bad cold prior to Christmas, so the kids had watched a lot of PBS and Nick Jr...which meant that they saw a lot of Santa's on T.V. When we first were at my parents house before Christmas, Lexi sat down with Bri and wrote a letter to Santa. Lexi then went and placed the letter by the door. I noticed over the next couple of days she would go and pick it up and look at it and then put it back down.
Christmas morning, after the rolls (see post below), my Dad very quickly changed into a Santa costume and then snuck down the steps and outside, then knocked on the door. Lexi ran out of the room, while the other three kids just stared. A few minutes later, Lexi came back with the letter in hand and HAD to give it to him. Then she helped him pass out all of the presents, she was so in awe I don't think that she ever suspected a thing. Her eyes were so big the whole time, well I think you can see some of the amazement in the picture taken with "Santa"!!
I think this picture of the girls is just too cute!
