Tornado Warnings...

Yesterday morning already the meterologists in this area began forecasting for this storm that would be the "one " that we talked about in forty years. As Jason decided to go out bowhunting last night a Tornado Watch went up for our area. No big deal it is still nice and sunny out. At 10:20 last night the local alarm sounded, now realize there are no known tornados just doppler sited conditions. We went ahead and woke up the kids brought them to the basement. Just sat down and the alarm stopped. So Jason went back upstairs and sure enough the storm went north of us, the kids can go back to bed. We decided to stay up and watch for a little bit longer just to be sure we were ok. All looks good, off to bed we go. We wern't in bed for more than 15 minutes and the alarms are going off again...we are less than a mile from the siren, it is nice and loud. So back downstairs we go to see what is going on, well it was just a false alarm....at least we didn't wake the kids up again. All in all, we had some rain dumped on us, no branches or trees down, didn't even lose power. I highly doubt that this is the storm we will be talking about in forty years!!

Anyway, hadn't posted for awhile, just thought I would let you all know that we really are ok.
