Well IT Happened..

What happened? IT...Lexi found the safety scissors. I really did not think that safety scissors would cut hair... but apparentely they do! Another lesson to learn from your children! Jason and I have talked many times about when will it happen, can we prevent it from happening, who is going to do it. It appears that these things happen when you least expect it, say when you have a pounding headache and are frantically trying to clean your house, so that the babysitter can come over and watch your precious children, so that perhaps you can get out of the house away from your children, relax and just perhaps get rid of that dumb, nagging, pounding, blasted headache.

Lexi & Dani both came up from the basement with grins as wide as their faces. Lexi has a handful of hair and thinks that I should be oh so proud.... ummmm NO! My reaction was less than ideal as far as growth in the creativity department goes. So, uhh yes I yelled. As far as Lexi, she was very unimpressed that I was not happy about her newest creation...her hair you cannot tell since I have her hair layered...Dani well it may have blended in a week or two, maybe three or four.

Dani & Mommy went to the hair salon today and she got to sit in the big chair and be treated like a princess.

When I made the appointment, I know that I used feminine pronouns (her, she) but apparently the appointment was writtend down for "Danny" and the beautician picked out a very boy drape. Dani did not seem very excited by the drape one bit. Now Brevon would have loved it!

Just in case you wonder, the safety scissors are still on top of the refrigerator and may stay there for awhile!
