Drama, Drama...

On Saturday, Lexi, Dani, and I headed off to this shop called The Firehouse, to paint pottery with Lexi's friend Grace. This was a special day planned to celebrate Lexi's fifth birthday and had been canceled last weekend due to us all having a fairly bad cold.

As I am leaving the driveway to go and pick up Grace, my car makes a funny sound. I pulled over to check it out, my tire is flat, completely flat!! I walk back to the house to have Jason help me.... He takes off the tire, I get out the spare, he is still taking off the tire. Last October when I had Sears put on new tires, they cross threaded the lugnuts onto the studs. Jason had to break the studs to get the tire off. Finally my spare tire is on, minus two lugnuts, and the girls and I are off to Sears to have them "quick" fix my tire and studs... after about an hour I called Grace's Mom to say, ok I have to cancel for today, again... Two and a half hours after I dropped off the van they were done with it.... The girls were tired and grumpy!!

Grace the next morning at church wanted me to pick her up and take them all over there on Sunday afternoon. I hated to tell her no, but really felt I had no options!! ( I do not think the Firehouse is open on Sunday's.)

Poor Lexi, hopefully, will have a birthday party!
