The kids today decided to practice golfing in the backyard with Jason's golf clubs. Jason and I were working on cleaning out the van and doing some general maintenance on the van. After a bit we hear Dani scream and Lexi start bawling and uttering, "I didn't mean to, I didn't mean to..." I stumbled out of the back of the van to go see what has happened. Lexi, very accidentally, hit Dani over the eye with the golf club. After I took about two steps out of the van, Dani turns her head and blood is running all down the side of her face.... so yep we went to the E.R. Prior to leaving we did place an ice pack on the wound and grab some toys and of course the camera...

After 20 minutes of anesthesia, no pain, the princess is now happy.
I think this is initially after the stitches were in, but the wound is not in focus, so i cannot tell.
So basically just a picture!
All done, with bandage over the stitches!
Right before bed tonight, starting to become a bit puffy and blue.

Oh goodness, stitches are never fun. I'm trying to remember from blog posts over the years, are these the first stitches for any of your kiddos? I must say that I am very impressed if this is a first(that you made it this long I mean). :D
Dani looks like she was a trooper and can I just say I love it that you brought your camera to the ER!!
Wow! Great idea to bring the princess crown along! I love the first picture of her. They say pictures say a thousand words - that one definitely does! Hopefully the princess will be back to normal soon!
So obviously I haven't checked this in over a week! Poor baby! Hope she's doing well. One thing is for very sure in Dani's pictures...she definitely looks like the Tichlers!
