We will try and post a picture of the cocoons and of course the butterflies. I cannot decide if I want to let the butterflies go or if we should try and keep them and then preserve them when their time here is done. We will just have to see.

Live Butterfly Garden
Aunt Beth for Lexi's birthday sent her a Live Butterfly Garden. You receive in the mail a butterfly tent and then you send by mail to receive your larvae. I thought you only received two but we were sent five (most likely the norm). You keep the larvae in the cup they come in, after about a week they form there cocoons and a week later they are suppose to emerge from the cocoons. We received in the mail these tiny larvae and after just a few days they are HUGE!! They are all crawling up to the top today so I am curious to see if they are going to start making there cocoons. We are having some fun watching and waiting with these curious creatures. I did see something similar at Target, just a bit cheaper (by $2-3). At the website there are a ton of other creative things to get. They have a hermit crab garden, ant farm, just tons of fun, fun, things.
