I have spent the last 2 1/2 days SEWING!! Yes, I have actually been using that machine that Jason bought me the first year we were married. It doesn't work to bad either!! :-) Anyway, I have been frustrated with what the stores offer for Toddler bedding. You can get a set for $35-45 minimum, but I needed a set for both Dani and Brevon. Wednesday night Brevon woke up in the middle of the night cold. I realized then that he would stay warmer on flannel sheets. (You can't find toddler sets with flannel) Then it dawned on me, why not try and make the kids flannel sheets (fitted and flat, well flat being pull up, the bottom of it looks like the fitted sheet so that the kids cannot pull them off as easily. ) I went to Wal-Mart on Wednesday and found some flannel that I like for each kid and was having the lady cut that up for me and she told me about this lightweight fleece that they had in stock, so I picked up some of that to make them each a fleece blanket for their beds also. So now each has new sheets and blankets. They are all excited, Dani especially, they can tuck themselves in now. Lexi has had these kind of sheets but superlightweight. Anyway I don't have a picture of Dani's yet because I wasn't all the way done with hers before she went to bed. I think Jason thinks that I have become nutty!!
